Tribal-led resilient housing built through advanced prefab manufacturing
Denoto and ReMo have formed a joint venture to deliver scalable, resilient housing solutions through tribal-led manufacturing. Combining Denoto’s access to federal contracting and commitment to community-driven development with ReMo’s advanced prefab technology, the partnership is designed to expand housing production while creating long-term economic opportunity, workforce development, and infrastructure for tribal communities.
Denoto Holding Corporation is the economic development arm of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, a federally recognized sovereign nation in Northern California. Wholly owned by the Tribe, Denoto is focused on building long-term economic resilience through diversified enterprises and participation in federal contracting programs such as the SBA 8(a) program, with a mandate to create sustainable growth, workforce opportunity, and community benefit.
ReMo Homes is an advanced modular housing manufacturer developing high-performance, zero-carbon homes through factory-based construction. ReMo is the only modular housing company funded by the California Energy Commission for zero-carbon prefab technology development, and the first modular home company to secure statewide approval in California. Backed by a team with aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and engineering experience, ReMo applies precision-driven design, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver housing that is faster to build, more cost-effective, and more resilient than traditional construction.
